Mr. Mitchell is responsible for coordinating the successful implementation of Somera’s real estate joint venture transactions including purchase and partnership agreement negotiations, debt transactions and dispositions. During his tenure at Somera, he has been involved in the acquisition of more than $1.75 billion of real estate, with direct responsibility for sourcing over $200 million of property and $700 million of debt financing.
Mr. Mitchell has 18 years of experience in investment real estate including assignments in acquisitions, debt sourcing, asset and property management, brokerage, financial analysis and consulting. Prior to joining Somera, Mr. Mitchell was Vice President of Investments at Pacifica Real Estate Group, where he worked closely with Mr. Brown and was instrumental in property acquisitions and dispositions, investment analysis and financing procurement. Mr. Mitchell also served as a consultant in the real estate consulting group at Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles and worked with Mr. Brown as an acquisitions analyst for The Auerbach Companies in Los Angeles. Mr. Mitchell received an M.B.A. degree from Pepperdine University and a B.A. degree in Economics from UCLA. |
