| Mr. Nolan re-joined Somera in March of 2008 as an Associate after having worked at the firm from June 2006 to June of 2007 as an acquisitions analyst. He participates in Somera's acquisition process, which includes the financial analysis of potential transactions, market research, property-level due diligence, and transaction structuring, in addition to portfolio management responsibilities. Prior to re-joining Somera, Mr. Nolan was a real estate finance associate at Mesa West Capital and prior to June of 2006 was an acquisitions analyst for the private merchant banking firm ScanlanKemperBard Companies in Portland, OR where he performed property valuations, due diligence studies, development analyses, location strategy studies, and market research. Prior to joining SKB while attending The University of Oregon, Mr. Nolan worked as a summer analyst for Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP, a commercial mortgage banking firm, where he performed valuation analysis and provided due diligence support. Mr. Nolan received a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from The University of Oregon. Outside of work Mr. Nolan volunteers with the Big Brother program of greater Los Angeles.
